Shweta Gulati is a bubbly actress captured millions of hearts with her charms and acting abilities. A commerce graduate from Mumbai's MCC College started her professional life working as a marketing executive for Aptech Computers later in a call centre for three months. She never thought about acting when she walked in for an audition with her brother to give him moral support... but things turned serious when she got a call for an ad-film instead.
Her First ad was directed by Ace Admaker Prahlad Kakkar. Later more commercial ads came on her way. She worked in soaps like Shagun , the main lead Tara in Kyun Hota Hai Pyar and Rose Audio Visual's Lipstick in a grey character, Shweta has taken a shot at the big screen too, playing the "teenage lead" in a cute kids film called Detective Nani. And hosted Pardey Ke Peeche on Star Plus which focus on TV stars and their world
But Shweta shot to instant fame with StarOne and RoseAudioVisual's Remix. Shweta portrayed the character of the self obsessed yet innocent and lovable Tia with great charisma.
An actor who tried different characters and dared to experiment. She did not limit herself to Ads, Television and Films only. Shweta did Theatre aswell, her first play was titled KKK...Kiran, a musical comedy directed by Mihir Bhuta (who scripted the much acclaimed Chanakya and Aflatoon) Shweta played the title role of Kiran.
